Pet Dental Specialists is a privately-owned, specialty veterinary dentistry and oral surgery center in the Pacific Northwest offering individualized, patient centered, compassionate specialty care and service for life-long oral health in our patients. We are Vancouver’s only facility offering Board Certified Veterinary Dentists™ to provide care for your pets.
We emphasize the education of our clients, referring veterinarians, and our team members in order to advance and improve oral care for all veterinary patients in the region. We are dedicated to providing expert dental care with consideration for the overall health of the patient.
All of our veterinarians are Board Certified Veterinary Dental Specialists™ as Credentialed Members of the American Veterinary Dental College, the only approved veterinary dental specialty certification body in North America. The American Veterinary Dental College is one of two of the only approved and universally accepted certifying organizations in the world with its companion organization, The European Veterinary Dental College.

Amber
Customer Service Representative
Amber has been working in the veterinary field since 2008. She started her career working in a general practice setting before her work at a 24 hour- emergency/specialty hospital and now with Pet Dental Specialists. She is currently getting her bachelors in Science and Leadership through the University of Charleston. Afterwards, her plan is to obtain her CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager). She has been a member of VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Managers Association) since 2020. She has two daughters, a cat named Meredith Grey but goes by Chloe, and two yorkie mixes named Penny and Jax. In her downtime, she enjoys various activities from hiking, camping, journaling, coloring, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries, exercising, roller-blading and enjoying time with friends and family.
Taylor
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Taylor has been working in the veterinary field since 2015 and became a licensed veterinary technician in 2019. She started as a general practice receptionist, then in 2016 she accepted a job with a general practice that focused on dentistry and oral health. This fueled her passion for dentistry. She enjoys spending time with clients and their pets while providing exceptional care and client education. Outside of work she enjoys learning anything new, especially regarding companion animals and wildlife. Taylor has two dogs (Duck & Gunner) and one cat (Willow). Her favorite way to spend time with her dogs is at the beach, in the mountains or just at home playing fetch.
Dory
Licensed and Certified Veterinary Technician, VTS-Dentistry
Dory has worked in the veterinary field since 1997 and has been licensed since 2001. She has worked at specialty practices including Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Avian/Exotics and Dentistry. In 2018 she furthered her career by obtaining her specialty certification in dentistry through the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians (AVDT). She is very excited to be part of the Pet Dental Specialists team and shares the passion in providing the highest quality medical and dental care to her patients. When she is not working, she enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her family.
Jey
Licensed and Certified Veterinary Technician
Jey has spent 17 years of her career in specialty referral and emergency medicine. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients and their owners.
Originally from Southern California, Jey moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2002 for the greenery and outdoor activities. She obtained her Veterinary Technician license in 2006. She has had the opportunity to work with multiple Specialists in different departments and found her passion in anesthesia.
Jey enjoys spending her free time reading, building Lego sets and spending time with her family. She also volunteers as “Camping Mom” for her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop. Jey’s menagerie of pets includes a Pitbull (Dozer), a French Bulldog (Lola) and four cats (Jezebel, Seven, Magnum and Shepherd).
Nick
Veterinary Assistant
Nick found his way to veterinary medicine after completing an 8-year long career as a military police officer in the United State Army in 2021. Originally from Reno, Nevada, Nick completed his military career while stationed in Washington. He loved his time in Washington, so he decided to stay and enroll in school to become a veterinary assistant. He started his career in veterinary medicine in Emergency medicine as an overnight ICU assistant. Nick brings a wide range of skill and knowledge with him. One of the most important things to Nick is always striving to make each furry family member’s visit to the vet a calm, positive and loving environment.
Nick enjoys camping and spending as much time at the river as possible with his girlfriend and their 2 dogs, Juno a 2-year-old Husky mix who brings all of the crazy to the house and their sweet 14-year-old Beagle mix Juniper Mae who is a professional emotional support dog and is the queen of karaoke nights in the house.
