Heather Hagedorn (she/her/hers)

Heather Hagedorn, LVT
Co-Founder

Heather has spent many years of her career in specialty referral and emergency medicine. She is motivated to provide top-notch care to both her patients and their owners, and this is a large part of why she pursued ownership in our practice. She has worked with our boarded veterinary dental specialists™ since 2014 and has been an integral part of our team and service to the SW Washington area.

Heather started her career in veterinary medicine by moving to Denver to attend Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, one of the oldest and largest veterinary technician training programs in the United States. She graduated in 2005, earning her an Associates of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. After graduating, she returned home to the Vancouver-Portland Metropolitan Area, spent some time in general practice before finding her home in emergency and specialty medicine. Her goal as a licensed veterinary technician is to provide educational support, high-level anesthesia and top of the line pain control, improving our patient’s experience in our office and throughout their recoveries.

Heather enjoys the outdoors and loves getting out to explore or work around her home. She can be found gardening, hiking and biking with her family, or if the weather is less than ideal she will cozy up inside with a crochet project or playing with her family. Heather is a lover of Labrador Retrievers (she has two of her own), but she is not biased and loves all of her patients. She does have a slight bias of affection for her smaller and more elderly patients.
